It is a great pleasure to announce that the next INMR WORLD CONGRESS will be held from Nov. 7 to 10, 2027 at the fabulous Algarve Conference Center, located in Vilamoura, Portugal. There is an international airport located in Faro, only a 30-minute ride by taxi, and bus shuttles will be offered from Lisbon International Airport, just over 2 hours away.
This spectacular new conference and exhibition center offers unparalleled space for both the technical sessions as well as for the PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION. The Exhibition Hall and Plenary Conference Room are 10m (30 ft) high and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows looking out to the sea as well as over the Marina.
Directly adjoining the Algarve Conference Centre is the marvelous Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Hotel. Attendees will be able to reserve rooms at special group rates for the duration of the event as well as for up to 3 days before and afterwards, should they wish to extend their stay and explore the Algarve.
The Algarve is an exceptionally beautiful region of Portugal, dotted with historic towns and castles and with a history going back thousands of years. Being along the sea, there are also superb beaches and vistas to discover.
This 18th edition of the INMR WORLD CONGRESS will feature more than 150 technical lectures delivered by experts in their fields from across the globe. There will be a Plenary Session the first day with presentations relating to the latest key topics about insulators, bushings, surge arresters and cable accessories. This will be followed by Break-Out Sessions covering the following key areas:

• Manufacturing equipment & technology
• Laboratory testing
• Assessing & designing for pollution
• Application & service experience
• Condition monitoring & maintenance
