The 2019 INMR WORLD CONGRESS that will take place in Tucson, Arizona from Oct. 20-23, 2019 will be the 14th such Conference & Exhibition that first started in Switzerland in 1995. Since then, these bi-annual events have been held in Singapore, United States, China, Spain, Hong Kong, Brazil, Greece, Korea, Canada and Germany.
This 3-day event will focus on design, operation and inspection of overhead and underground power lines as well as substations. Emphasis is placed on critical components including insulators, surge arresters, bushings and cable accessories such as joints and terminations. Proper selection of these key components for the applicable service environment is a major determinant of reliability, maintenance needs and safety. Other topics will include compact line designs that promote greater community acceptance of new lines or reduce critical clearances to save costs or allow existing corridors to be utilized for greater power transfer.
The 2019 INMR WORLD CONGRESS will feature distinguished speakers from across the globe, coming from power utilities, universities, equipment manufacturers and test laboratories. Topics will not only be presented in a practical way by experts but also from all points of view – providing a truly complete perspective. Below is the Preliminary Program, with more speakers still being added. In total, there will eventually be more than 100 Papers.
In addition, there will be a PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION that runs in parallel to the conference. This will be an opportunity to see latest designs of insulators, arresters, bushings, cable accessories and test equipment as well as to meet and discuss your needs with world-leading suppliers in these fields.
The many benefits of attending justify sending staff from within your organization. Additional information on the evolving Technical Program can be found on-line at: www.INMRWORLDCONGRESS.com.
