  Korean Folk Village
Market
Korean Folk Village is located in a 243 acres of natural environment. Visitors can experience in the natural atmosphere with over 260 traditional houses reminiscent of the late Joseon Dynasty, including various household goods from different regions. About 20 workshops, various handicrafts such as pottery, baskets, winnows, bamboo wares, wooden wares, paper, brass wares, knots, fans, musical instruments, iron wares and embroidery are practiced.

  Namdaemun Market
Market
Opened in 1964, the Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with various goods in store. All products are sold at affordable prices and the stores in this area also function as a wholesale markets. Most of the goods are made directly by the storeowners. Namdaemun Market opens from 11:00pm to 3:00am, and is crowded with retailers from all over the country. When day breaks, the site of busy Koreans bustling around the market, creates a unique scene that attracts tourists worldwide. The Namdaemun Market sells a variety of clothes, glasses, kitchenware, toys, mountain gear, fishing equipment, stationery, fine arts, accessories, hats, carpets, flowers, ginseng, and imported goods.

  Presidential Blue House
Blue House
The signature markings of the Presidential Residence of Cheong Wa Dae are its blue tiles. The blue tiles and the smooth roof blend beautifully with Mt. Bugaksan in the backdrop. It is interesting to see that these buildings all have distinctive shapes. They are unique and beautifully designed, built in the Korean traditional style. You can walk along the Nokjiwon and the Mugunghwa Valley. There is one famous tree which is 310 years old. The Mugunghwa Valley has colorful flowers, a fountain, and a phoenix statue, which makes it perfect for taking pictures.
   
  Changdeok Palace
Palace
Changdeok Palace is the second royal villa built after Gyeongbuk Palace in 1405. Changdeok was the principal palace for many of the Joseon kings, and is the best preserved among the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. The rear garden that was used as a place of rest by the kings boasts a gigantic tree that is over 300 years old, a small pond, and a pavilion. The palace grounds are comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden.
   
  Insadong Arts & Crafts Market

Insadong has been at the heart of nation’s capital for 600 years and it has been the center of culture during the Chosun Dynasty (1392-1910). This is where the Ministry of Art was once situated. Insadong usually refers to the area from Anguk-dong Rotary to Tapgol Park in Jongro 2(i)-ga, past the Insadong Intersection. The notable features of Insadong are the countless alleys that branching out from the main street. Insadong has become known as ‘Merry’s Area,’ a favorite shopping spot among foreigners.
   
  Seoul Tower

Opened to the public on October 15, 1980, Seoul Tower has been designated as a major tourist attraction where the beautiful panoramic view of Seoul can been seen. The 236.7 meter high Seoul Tower built on the 243m Mt. Namsan has been known as the best tower in Asia. The letter N signifies a 'new' look, and a total construction cost of 15 billion won was invested in to giving Seoul Tower its new look. With the construction of the new lighting system, the appearance, color and pattern of the tower brings change to each season or event. In addition, with the theme of ‘Flower of Seoul,’ lighting with the use of 6 different searchlights from different angles will take place from 7p.m. to midnight. There is also the N Grill western-style restaurant that revolves 360 degrees every 48 minutes, and Sky Restroom that offers comfort and scenic views of Seoul; both are ideal for couples and friends.
   
  The COEX Aquarium

The COEX Aquarium is spread out over a large area and showcases no less than 40,000 sea creatures, which come from 600 different species. The aquarium is unique in Korea because it has been designed around the theme of “Water Journey”. On entering the museum, visitors will embark on an adventure that follows water on its journey from the high Andean mountains, through the Amazon tropical rainforest to swamps, rivers, seashores, and finally to the depths of the ocean. Visitors will get an in-depth look into some of the world’s fascinating underwater creatures.
   
  Kimchi Museum

Since its foundation in 1986, the Kimchi Museum has displayed historical relics related to kimchi, different types of kimchi, mock-ups of kimchi-making processes, and information about the efficacy derived from the kimchi fermentation process. Visitors will learn about the origin and history of kimchi through historical books, paintings, and writings. Various types of kimchi crocks, along with traditional kitchen utensils that were used to prepare it will also be introduced. Various models show specific types of kimchi that were developed in regions all over Korea.
   
  Han River Cruise

Hangang River Ferry Cruise is one of the best ways to enjoy the scenery around Hangang River that flows through Seoul. Cool wind from the river, the surrounding scenery, which get more beautiful in the evenings, are the rewards the ferry cruise can offer you. On the cruise, you can see Hangang River’s beautiful scenery, the surrounding islands, Jeoldusan Park, the 63 Building, Namsan Tower, Jamsil’s Multi Sports Complex, and other famous tourist spots.
